LACE UPS + WINE STAINED DRESS

LET'S TALK DRESSES. I love a good wine-colored dress for autumn, especially paired up with a cosy plaid/ flannel. Long necklaces break up the length of the dress & add a simple touch. 

LACE UPS. Obsessed with this trend & I hope it's not going anywhere. As much as I love booties, these are a nice alternative for when you want a change. And this pair is so comfy, what could be better?

Baby Blue x Crochet

One of my favorite trends this season is a good off-the-shoulder look. 

It's fun & flirty but still a little bit chic. With this crochet accent, you don't even need too many accessories to put everything together. Some pearl studs & some bright lipstick should do the trick.

I looove this dress. It's light & airy & perfect for parties or barbecues or a day out! The color doesn't hurt either. The sad part? It seems to be missing from Francesca's website. (yikes I know) LUCKILY I've linked some similar ones, & if you happen to stumble upon the exact dress let me know! 
On another note, can we talk about how that's such a blogger's nightmare? I'M SO SORRY I'VE LET DOWN THE MASSES.
Anyway...... talk to me about the off-the-shoulder look. Love it? Hate it? I personally love the way it dusts the shoulders perfectly.

Currently Craving | Pretty Francesca's Picks

I'm kind of obsessed with Francesca's lately. In becoming more "socially aware" of fast fashion & sustainability, (I think I'm gonna write up a full post on all that soon) I've been trying expand my shopping horizons a bit more.
Enter Frannie's. (I'm so sorry that I've given a lovely shop such an annoying nickname) Off-the-shoulder is a trend I'm definitely on board with, & one can never have too many denim skirts. Or rompers & dresses, floral or otherwise. (how chic is the pink one up top??)

As evidenced in Monday's post, I love color, especially in spring.

BUT. A little nude x white never hurt anybody either.

When I found this top at Francesca's (obsessed with that shop) the other day I knew it would be perfect with my white skinnies and some rose colored flats. 

The key with neutrals is balance. With this outfit, the white breaks up the more nude colors and brings an unexpected pop.
