It's been a LOOONG hot sec since I've featured a monday style post, & since I was just introduced to the sweatshirt/ long skirt situation via pinterest, I figured now's the perfect time!

But really, how chic is this combo? You can't get any more carrie bradshaw than a good tulle skirt, & paired with a sweatshirt tied at the waist gives it an elongated situation. Popping on a pair of heels puts some eloquence into the look, yes? 

I've been SUPER into the Gucci leather disco bag, but I can't get over the price tag. A bag like the Dorothy Perkins, however, is a sort-of-dupe that still looks pretty & makes the look street-chic. 

I'm thinking I'm going to have to try this out in real life & maybe turn it into a post...

Oh hey, babes, happy Monday! With Thanksgiving a week & a half away, it's time to start thinking outfits. It's hard for me to wear anything other than leggings each year because to me they're my own, as Joey Tribbiani puts it, Thanksgiving pants. They give ya a little ROOM, ya know what I mean? BUT you can always get away with a pretty skirt & tights.

This year I'm digging the turtleneck vibes. Cosy, chic, & simple. Pair with a long necklace and voila!

Oh hi, hello. Wonder what I was wearing yesterday? I may not have gotten that perfect insta shot, but I did create pretty much an EXACT REPLICA for you. WHEW, crisis averted.
This is one of my favorite season transitional looks- nobody can go wrong with an LBD, & paired with a flannel, whether tied around the waist (my fave) or layered over your dress, it's the perfect added touch. One autumn must have that I have a feeling will be around for awhile is a pair of cute ankle booties. Chic without too much effort.

Travel Style

Traveling to different places is always fun, but the actual travel part? Not so much. And no matter if you're in a car for hours on end or having to pass through airport security, you're gonna want to be comfortable, RIGHT?

My travel style is the one time things are EXTREMELY low-key. I like to just throw on some shorts or leggings (depending on the time of year- for my Colorado excursion this week shorts it is) & a tee.

Choker Moment

Chokers have made such a comeback & my '90s baby soul is kiiiind of happy about it. I mean, what's better than rocking your tattoo choker while drinking your capri sun & listening to Backstreet Boys? 

Like any necklace, there are lots of different styles of chokers (& I kind of want them all!) and so many styling options. I've been loving a good overall + choker combo lately..... what about you?

Mother's Day is just around the corner (ugh I sound like a greeting card commercial) so I've curated a few picks for any mom/ lady in your life!
