Can we collectively agree that the name 'balloon sleeve' sounds a bit unattractive? Like its cousin the pussy bow, it presents itself in such a way that leaves you wondering 'why would I want to wear that?'

You ever realize about two hours after you took photos that you had the PERFECT accessory to go with it & failed to style like you’re umm, a stylist? Or is that just me, with this pinafore & a good old newsboy?

There are many things I can say about many articles of clothing, but lately I’ve laid my affections on that of the wide leg pant.

There's a reason I don't feature shoes often, and why I always link ~similar~ shoes in outfit posts instead of exact.

I found this quintessential crop + denim skirt pairing in a forever 21 recently, (how am I not a walking ad at this point) & I knew I had to have it. It screamed summer, cherry cola, and vintage vibes and it was love at first sight.

Jumpsuits are tricky little game for us petites. It’s either a need-to-put-this-on-instagram-immediately hit or a need-to-return-immediately and never be seen in it again miss.

If Instagram is any indication, a huge trend of the spring will be belts. I’m talkin big, wide, and probably with a Gucci logo.

Oh HEY THERE, babes!
I recently added this boohoo romper to my wardrobe & brought it out for my cousin's baby shower. It was A HIT with me & now I want to wear it pretty much every day.
Every detail is perfection, from the flutter shoulder to the waist to the print. What's not to love about gingham? First made chic on picnic outings, it's now chic on street wear & I've been a fan of it for too long to not actually OWN a print, ya know?
I chose this specific romper because of the petite cut and straight silhouette, the defined waist breaking things up a bit.
For me, adding a long necklace or choker + necklace combo is the best accessory to sauce the look up a tiny notch.
I've listed some more romper picks down below!
Are you a gingham fan? Let's chat about it!

The sun decided to shine bright & the wind blew hard the day I shot this look, & this is what came out of it. Used to I would've scrapped the post altogether, waited for a better weather day & put on the outfit all over again, but I've decided to embrace the unexpected.
Not unexpected is the velvet crush happening lately, evident in the wardrobe addition of this off the shoulder top. Soft & wearable, I'm feeling the velvet vibes.

Y'ALL. These wide leg babes made their instagram debut a couple weeks ago & they're still going strong. As a petite I've always been hesitant of wide leg & palazzo pants- none ever fit me right. But as you can see,
IT IS POSSIBLE.
Look for a crop cut if possible so it hits at a perfect length. Right at the top of the ankle is a good cutoff point to keep from looking like you're being swallowed. High waist gives the illusion of more leg & flats can be swapped for heels for even more height.

Scarves are the ultimate A/W accessory. Blanket scarves are an added bonus because they're so cosy & big enough that you can literally use them as a blanket, (has anyone tried this out? please share details) but if you're 5'4" or under, the large scarves can feel like they're swallowing you.
I began to accept this fate, but then I fought against it. I experimented, & I realized that like with most things, it's all in the way you wear it.
The key is to make it look as least bulky as possible, while still maintaining a "blanket scarf" feel. The best way I've found to achieve this:
Fold the scarf into a triangle, then tie two ends together for a makeshift infinity scarf. Wrap the scarf around your neck (I do it twice) & kind of tuck the knot into the rest of the scarf.
IT'S THAT SIMPLE.
