Though it's on my bucket list, I've never been to a music festival. As fun as I think it would be, I'm sure I'd end up having a tiny panic attack and crying or maybe having too much to drink and uh oh, still crying. But at least my outfit would look good, right? I digress.

It looks like they have no plans of leaving this year, & after shopping around for the ~perfect~ one, I found this babe on shein. (aka the babe that keeps selling out like there's no tomorrow- WONDER WHY) 

HOW TO ROCK A ROMPER

Rompers (or playsuits for you fancy UKers) have sort of become a spring/ summer staple, & for good reason. Besides the ungodly amount of time it takes to get situated in the bathroom, (say that sentence out of context) rompers are wearable & effortlessly chic.

But how to figure out how to wear them? I was wearing this romper out recently and my best friend made a comment about how they never seem to look good on her. I BEG TO DIFFER. Anyone can rock a romper. Here's what to look for:

Fit

Fits can vary from person to person, & with something like a romper you want to make sure that it fits right in the right places. (that may seem like a duh, but it's especially important as it's all one piece) Look for looser fits if you're uncomfortable with a certain area, & I always like to bend over to make sure the bottom isn't a drastically short fit from that angle.

Cut

Going along with fit, every romper cuts differently on different bodies. Look for cuts that hit just at your midline & don't hit weirdly on your chest. 

Pattern

Certain patterns are bolder than others (like the one I've opted for) & you should make sure the pattern won't offset the fit. You know when someone walks into a room and all you see is PATTERN BAM? If that's happening when you look in the mirror, it's prooobably not a great idea. If you do opt for a bolder pattern, choose minimal accessories.

Yes, Petites Can Wear Blanket Scarves!

Scarves are the ultimate A/W accessory. Blanket scarves are an added bonus because they're so cosy & big enough that you can literally use them as a blanket, (has anyone tried this out? please share details) but if you're 5'4" or under, the large scarves can feel like they're swallowing you. 

I began to accept this fate, but then I fought against it. I experimented, & I realized that like with most things, it's all in the way you wear it. 

The key is to make it look as least bulky as possible, while still maintaining a "blanket scarf" feel. The best way I've found to achieve this: 

Fold the scarf into a triangle, then tie two ends together for a makeshift infinity scarf. Wrap the scarf around your neck (I do it twice) & kind of tuck the knot into the rest of the scarf.

IT'S THAT SIMPLE.

When the triangle part of the scarf is in the front, it gives the illusion of elongation, which never hurt a fly. 
BOOM.
