April means spring is in full bloom and my favorite things become brighter. Fresher. Pinker.
Let's get to it, shall we?
On the beauty front we have this Maybelline lipstick (in pink & chic) that I've been OBSESSING over. It's matte and a lovely pink shade that's not too bright. Also, the staying power on this is AMAZING! Hours go by before I need to reapply. (am I Dr. Seuss?)
As mentioned here, this month I tried out Sonia Kashuk's chic luminosity highlighter stick. While it doesn't 100% cover my under eye circles (nothing really does, go genes!) it earns a favorites spot because it definitely helps brighten the face & leaves a hint of dewy glow.
Okay, so my candle problem might be getting out of hand. (like, a lot) I can't help it. I'm a blogger, I like my candles okay? And Sweet Sangria smells like summer. And sangria. (I'm not good at describing scents but trust me, you'll love it)
Have I talked in depth about the Stevies brand? Steve Madden's daughter (who's like eight, it's fine) has her own line of shoes. Big deal, you think. But since I'm stuck in kid-size land, I'll take any opportunity to get adultish-looking shoes. My latest find? These fun crochet sneakers (here's a normal size look-a-like) are comfy & casual & I love pairing them with a t-shirt dress.....
Which leads me to my last couple of picks..... dresses! I talked about my love of stripes in this post & it's going strong. This month I picked up a Mossimo striped t-shirt dress and it is SO SOFT. SO STRIPE-Y. I like belting it or tying a denim shirt over it for more of a defined waistline.
So I've only worn this off-the-shoulder dress like, once so far. Sue me. The color is perfect & the crochet adds a little something, no? I love it.
