It's been a bit of a busy week.... I flew to Florida for my grandmother's 90th birthday and spent five-ish? days there.

It seemed like the flight getting there was gonna be a breeze... we went through security in like two minutes and we were set. I should've known. 

The plane ended up having a brake issue and they had maintenance working on it while we were all sitting there for a good half hour with bad A/C, until finally they decided to move us to another plane.

It ended up not being that bad once we were on the second plane and the pilot was ready. It just wasn't so easy breezy on my anxiety. But I lived.

On Wednesday (the day after we got back home) I saw Fifth Harmony in town. 

It was one giant dance party and I loved every second.

Last night's episode was definitely one of the best of the season so far, even though we still didn't get any real answers. #typical

+ The first question on my mind was where Mona was. Was she not planning on going to prom in the first place? Is she even around? I don't know. I don't understand. This is the real mystery, obviously. 

+ I like how this episode was kind of setting things up for the time jump and Haleb in New York is everything I've ever wanted.

+ Honestly I think the biggest thing we learned is that Clark is in fact not working for Charles, but an undercover cop. I honestly didn't see that one coming. It still poses the question: Just how did he get a gun into a school prom?

+ By the way the episode ended, I'm thinking the finale will start by showing Charles' face. When Ali saw him she knew who it was right away and that kind of terrifies me. It could be anybody. 

+ The highlight of everything was by far the moms bonding and basically being the Liars in twenty years.

I'm honestly all out of ideas. I don't know who or what I'm expecting next week because I've just given up on trying to figure it out.

But I still try, because that makes sense.....

Autumn on my mind

The beginning of August seems to also begin the crossroads between wanting summer to never end and craving autumn stillness. 

Fall has definitely been on my mind, with the fashion of it at the forefront. I know Texas is nowhere near ready to give up 95+ degree days, but that won't stop me from dreaming.

Transitional pieces will be essential in a couple of months, and these are some of my picks that pair well. Too bad this list is a liiitle premature.
