Previously on Pretty Little Liars... Game Over, Charles

Last night was the night. After six seasons and five years of our lives that we'll never get back, the identity of A/ Charles was revealed.

*SPOILERS AHEAD

I once read a theory that CeCe Drake was actually Charles, making her transgender, and I didn't really pay much attention because to me it was just another theory in the book that wouldn't pan out. Who knew I was wrong?

Eve though some of the reasoning of her being A still doesn't make much sense to me, I should've put the pieces together. Those identical dresses Mrs. D. had. All the creepy twin stuff. The resemblance between Ali and CeCe.

CeCe stole the game from Mona in Radley. Like I said, I'm still confused on the reasoning. She said she hated the way the girls were relieved when they thought Ali was dead, so that entailed tormenting them and ruining their lives?

I knew Sara Harvey was involved somehow, but making her Red Coat and Black Widow seems a bit forced. What were her motives? How did CeCe convince her to help her? Sara didn't even know the girls in the beginning. I don't understand how that was supposed to work.

They said all the questions would be answered in this episode, but there are still so many. Why were Melissa and Wren always so shady? Who killed Mrs. DiLaurentis? Are the moms still stuck in the basement??

I think what I'm having the most feelings over is the time jump. That little "preview" we got was interesting, AND the theory wheels are already turning in my mind. Everyone is wondering who Spencer was talking about when she was like "he's here," and when Ali was writing her name on the blackboard (look who became a teacher?) she wrote a different last name. She's married. I'm thinking the "he" is her husband.

What are your theories on this? Tell me what you thought of the big reveal. Tell me anything really. We're in a drought til winter.

Last night's episode was definitely one of the best of the season so far, even though we still didn't get any real answers. #typical

+ The first question on my mind was where Mona was. Was she not planning on going to prom in the first place? Is she even around? I don't know. I don't understand. This is the real mystery, obviously.

+ I like how this episode was kind of setting things up for the time jump and Haleb in New York is everything I've ever wanted.

+ Honestly I think the biggest thing we learned is that Clark is in fact not working for Charles, but an undercover cop. I honestly didn't see that one coming. It still poses the question: Just how did he get a gun into a school prom?

+ By the way the episode ended, I'm thinking the finale will start by showing Charles' face. When Ali saw him she knew who it was right away and that kind of terrifies me. It could be anybody.

+ The highlight of everything was by far the moms bonding and basically being the Liars in twenty years.
http://withdignityandcoffee.tumblr.com/post/125888232339/thefaketeam-what-if-for-the-next-season-and-a

I'm honestly all out of ideas. I don't know who or what I'm expecting next week because I've just given up on trying to figure it out.

But I still try, because that makes sense.....

What about you? Spill your thoughts!

We're getting closer to the season finale aka the Charles reveal and I'm so ready. I'm ready to be done with all the games and all the guessing and confusion. Of course, I'm sure there'll just be new confusion.

Anyway, let's talk about last night.

+ Hanna is having no sympathy for Charles and I don't blame her. I feel like out of all the girls she's the one most over all the crap. She's long finished playing A's games and she makes sure they all know it. I like that.

+ Is it just me or was Aria really sketchy about her prom dress? She was super quick to make sure Emily didn't get a peek of it and the "I want it to be a surprise" excuse seemed a little... off. All I could think about was the whole Black Swan thing....

+ I'm gonna need more Spanna scenes, asap. I love the whole dynamic of Hanna being sarcastic and done with everything and Spencer talking her down.

+ Okay so let's talk about this Rhys (totally weird way to spell Reese, btw) Matthews guy. Why is he a Jason doppelganger? Why is his whole company so sketch? I think he's my biggest question, because it's obvious that he's connected somehow. But how? I don't necessarily think he's Charles, but the chances of him being a DiLaurentis are pretty high.

+ Ms. Montgomery going all Mama Bear on Tanner is everything.

+ After everything, I really do believe Alison is sincere. In a way I don't understand how she could sympathize with Charles, but at the same time that was her brother. He's done unspeakable things, but it was her brother and she never got to know him. So I think she needs to mourn that loss and what could've been.

Alright, so what did you think of this episode? Tell me theories!

So, last night's episode was all about another "almost exposure" of Charles for the girls. Other than that, not too much went on, but of course I've still got some thoughts:

+ I'm glad we got to see some Mona/ Mike interaction this episode. Honestly I was starting to think they were just gonna ignore their storyline.

+ Oh, so you mean taking microchips out of each other's necks isn't normal friend bonding time?

+ Honestly some of the only real action we got was Toby eating Spencer's gummies. Not that it wasn't worth it.

+ The first few episodes of the season were SO.GOOD. and it's just gone downhill from there. Whyyyy.

Tell me your thoughts!

To be honest this was probably one of the more "eh" episodes of the season so far. There weren't many answers given (although when are there ever) and it just seemed a bit anticlimactic for me.

+ However, Mona did pretty much confirm that Charles is indeed alive, but that had already been a theory and I'm beginning to think more and more that Charles is indeed A.

+ If I found out I had a chip in my neck I would freak. Like how insane can you be to chip someone.

+ The whole Emily/ Sara dynamic seems forced somehow, as does a lot of Emily's relationships. I miss Maya.

+ I'm assuming Alison's dad freaked out after he got that card from "Charles" and that's why he dug up his grave?

And that's all I got.... tell me your thoughts!

Okay so let's talk last night's episode:

Right off the bat we've got Spencer in a scene that looks like it came out of The Ring. (I've never even seen that movie but that girl reminded me of The Ring girl. Creepy.) Now it's killing me trying to figure out who she was.

Sara is still sketchy to me. Maybe she's perfectly harmless but I'm just not sold. She always seems so... something. I don't know.

I used to think A was a girl but in all the closeups of hands we've gotten, they've seemed like a man's. But now the girl's are pretty convinced there was a bust in the photo. But why haven't we seen one before?

The realization that Lesli Stone was once in Radley makes a lot of sense and it probably is how she and Mona met. I don't know if she knew Charles though. That whole storyline will be interesting....

I'm not a fan of the whole Ali/ Lorenzo thing.... I'm not sure why so many of the girls have/ have had relationships with much older people. I know they're about to graduate but they're still in high school.

I feel for Spencer so much.

As much as I doubt Lesli is A, something is definitely up between her and Mona. That sketchy phone call and the "I asked you to do one thing." Why didn't Lesli want the girls to know she had been in Radley?

PS. I feel like Hanna's crop top + skirt look needs some appreciation.

What are your theories/ concerns/ feelings?

PPS. No episode next week..... why.

A lot went down this episode in terms of answers, yet somehow I'm still left with more questions... every time.

+ Anyone else pleasantly surprised they didn't drag the identity of Charles out for the whole season? I wasn't too surprised, however, to learn he was Ali and Jason's brother.

+ The whole thing with Ali's mom keeping the old house because that's where Charles was buried.... she lied about having him cremated, why couldn't she have lied about him actually being dead? She could've planted his headstone years ago as "evidence", although since she never let anybody in the house maybe that's stretching it.

+ Can Caleb just stop?? We need to bottle up his essence and sell it already. But I also totally understand how Hanna could feel like he was suffocating her at the moment.

+ The girls' newest theory is that A knew Charles at Radley, which could totally be possible. The biggest clue A has ever given was Charles, but that's not necessarily their true identity.

+ Still don't trust Sara. I don't know her MO and I don't like not knowing.

+ Spencer's flashbacks were super creepy and I hope Hanna is right in that A was just messing with her by putting fake blood everywhere. Oh A, always keeping it interesting. And twisted.

+ Speaking of twisted, the reason behind Charles being put in Radley is about a ten and a half on the twisted scale. He must've only been like what, seven or eight, and he literally tried to drown his baby sister. That's why I'm not sure I'm totally on board with Charles being dead. If a kid is that messed up then, just imagine what grown up him could be capable of.

Well, they were definitely right about this season being a lot darker. But I kinda like it? What about you? Tell me all the thoughts!

Some thoughts on last night's episode:

+ Andrew being adopted is the perfect evidence of him being Charles. I knew they were going to play that up, and they did.

+ We learned that "Charlie" was Jason's childhood imaginary friend, but he wasn't really imaginary? That's kind of confusing. And messed up. Charlie is Charles. Yes?

+ I'm not an Andrew fan but he brought up some pretty strong points when he was telling Aria off. I think sometimes the girls think about other people so much that they don't think of them. Does that make sense? Like, they try to make things better but sometimes they make it worse.

+ Everyone seems a little bit too trusting of Sara. She just seems so... off. And not just from being in the dollhouse for so long; her whole presence just seems shaky.

+ Where. Is. Mona

What are your thoughts? Tell me everything!

My dvr didn't record last night and I was on my way into a spiral when, thankfully, a link was found. Thanks internet, always lookin' out for your girl.

I think this was one of the best episodes as of late, I was so glued to everything and feeling a bunch of things.

So here we go:

+ I thought the we-think-Andrew-is-Charles story was going to be drawn out for a bit like most of the we-think-this-is-A's are, but it only lasted an episode. And now they're back to square one.

+ I like the way they did this episode, letting us in a bit on each of the girls' experiences in the dollhouse and the way they're dealing. It felt more, I don't know... real?

+ Honestly Mrs. Hastings is my least favorite parent sometimes. Yeah, Spencer had pill problems in the past, but she was literally tortured in a dollhouse for three weeks and I don't think refusing to get her anxiety medicine is going to help anything.

+ Out of all the things A has ever done to the girls this is the most twisted. Not just in the obvious ways, (making them torture each other?) but in the little ways too, like taking their bedrooms that they've always felt safe in and ruining them and everything inside.

+ One thing that seems a little off is how fiercely Aria wanted to make sure Andrew looked guilty. She was willing to lie and say she saw his face in the dollhouse. I know they all want it to go away, but her way of going about it was a little sketchy. I don't know. I just know that once you read Aria is A theories there's no going back.

+ And where was Mona this episode? I need to know what happened to her.

+ What is Ali's MO with this cop? If it's another love interest................

+ HALEB. Halebhalebhaleb

Your turn. Spill all the thoughts!

I wasn't sure about my expectations for this episode. On one hand, I was expecting this big shock, but the realistic part of me realized it probably wouldn't be the huge "reveal" it was being built up as.

I've played this game for so long now I know how it works.

Anyway, these are some of my less than put together thoughts from last night:

+ So I guess the whole Aria is A theory I've been obsessively reading up on is donzo. I'm actually kind of relieved.

+ OMG THIS DOLLHOUSE THING IS SO CREEPY. But it makes sense with the whole doll obsession.. remember a few seasons back when there were dolls, dolls everywhere? Hated it.

+ MONA'S ALIVE. Aaand she's been brainwashed by A.

+ Just kidding, she's still Mona. Really smart Mona.... I missed her.

+ I really thought she was dead. Like.... I went through a mourning period and everything. THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING.

+ Obviously Andrew is involved somehow... but how? He could be the hacker....

+ I just knew this episode would end up being like this somehow: We know who A is but we still don't know who A is. Who is Charles? Is that his real name? What does he look like? Is it even a guy? When we saw him standing next to Spencer the hair looked like it could've been a girl's slicked back.

Aside from the actual "reveal," this episode was one of the best this season. As always, I'm left with more questions than answers and it looks like I'm going even deeper in the theory rabbit hole. I've read a lot of theories that say Charles is Jason's twin, but I don't think he is. Assuming the little boys in that home video were Jason and Charles, one looked older than the other.

But at this point, I'm not betting on anything.

Pleeeease tell me your theories/opinions/thoughts because I'll need something to get me through until the summer premiere!

PS. If there's anyone out there who's figured out how to quit this show, lemme know. I'm desperate.

My thoughts and emotions on this episode are eeeverywhere, so. #SpoilersAhead

+ Honestly I had forgotten about Leslie and then she just showed up. I think that's what they wanted; for us to forget about her and then it be this bombshell when she testified against the girls.

+ Ugggghhh I hate Detective Tanner so much. Like go away already.

+ I had to stop overanalyzing for a moment to appreciate Aria's Tres Tres Tres outfit.

+ WHAT IS UP WITH ANDREW?? Manipulating Aria, that's reeeal great of him. He's so sketch.

+ "He's a policeman, Spencer!" Yeah, an 18 year old policeman. I still don't understand how that happened.

+ Does this mean Andrew was in the woods when Ezra, Caleb, and Mike were there? Or it probably means he wasn't there. I don't know anymore. {I say this like, every week}

+ Okay so, I kind of knew where the trial was headed but OMG. I can honestly say that all my "Alison is A" theories are long gone. She's a lot of things, but she wouldn't be doing this stuff to herself. And she definitely didn't kill Mona but she was found guilty and it's all messed up.

+ Also, if A isn't actually revealed next week, I'm so done with this show. {Jk it's too late for that.}

Tell me all your thoughts/ feelings on this episode!

Alison's trial was officially underway last night and things were a tad intense.

Here's my thoughts:

+ Those creepy twins were randomly at the trial. I don't know when we saw them last and then all of a sudden they're back? That has to mean something. Or maybe it was on purpose to throw us off.

+ Sooo are we pretty sure Varjack is A? That makes sense...

+ I DON'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING

+ #hannaandcalebforevs

+ "Do you wanna just give up and go shopping?" In which Aria is me.

+ Okay, so I knew something was up with Andrew. He's always seemed so shady, and being outside Mona's house while the girls were there? Creeepy.

+ What was that ending? And was that Tippy the bird?

I just need answers before my brain explodes.

Tell me all your thoughts/ theories/ rants.......

+ So according to the police Alison killed Mona with Hanna's help. Yeeeah. Sounds legit.

+ I feel like this is the most development in Spencer and Melissa's relationship we've ever seen.

+ Ughhhh quit throwing random people in to mess with relationships. We don't a British guy to come and flirt with Spencer there are better story lines.

+ Alison took the plea. Alison took the plea. JK SHE DIDN'T.

+ Hanna's phone getting hacked is more proof that A is just too smart. They can outsmart even the best.

+ Alison didn't take the plea but that didn't stop Hanna from getting arrested....... I don't even know how to feel about anything.

Well. This week's PLL was... bloody. And confusing. What's new?

+ To be honest I feel kind of bad for Alison right now. Like, realizing that your friends genuinely thought you were responsible for making their lives miserable? That's gotta hurt. Knowing what we know now, all my "Ali could be A" theories went buh-bye.

+ I like how Spencer just jet off to London. What about school? I never know with these girls.

+ I actually thought that scene with Spencer finding blood in her bag in the middle of her interview at Oxford was a bad dream. But nooope. Will we ever find out whose blood it is? What were A's exact intentions by putting it there? So many questions.

+ I called Aria and Andrew happening. I don't know how I feel about it.

+ This episode had me warming up to Talia a lot more. I think we can trust her. I think.

+ There's three weeks until we find out who A actually is. Except I don't think we'll ever really find out. Call me a pessimist.....

What are your PLL thoughts?

HAPPY WEDNESDAY! So, last night's PLL was a big ole' episode of crazy.

+ First things first, watching Spencer and Toby's relationship spiral is pretty much the saddest thing ever. They've been there at each other's best and worst and it's all going down because Toby cares more about his job than his girlfriend. Like, I get it, you wanna be a good cop, but don't treat your girlfriend and her friends like crap in the process. We were rooting for you, Toby. Ugh. #madaboutit

+ This whole "Taila's husband" thing is just so weird and it seems like her story is different from his.... apparently Emily thought it was fishy too. She got outta that one....

+ I was more than a little freaked when we found out Mike had Mona's blood. I was like, okay this is not Aria's mysterious younger brother from season one.

+ I was starting to think that A "signed" Kate up for the beauty pageant and looks like I had the right idea. I hate A.

+ OMG so. many. revelations. When Mona's death first happened part of me thought maybe it was just one of her elaborate plans that she always dreamed up. And it was. A had her convinced they could "expose" Alison and Mona would be free of her. She had it all worked out and it just went horribly wrong. Did I mention I hate A?

+ Aaand by the end of the episode I was back to feeling sorry for Mike. So that's where I'm at.

Spill your thoughts on all the drama!

Thoughts on last night's PLL:

+ I'm still trying to warm up to Jonny. I don't know his angle and I don't like that.

+ Okay so I hadn't realized how much Talia reminds me of Maya. Her and Emily's date also seemed eerily similar to Emily's and Maya's.... just throwing that out there.

+ Speaking of Talia, I was way off on what her sketchiness was. I thought she was like, working for A or something. Didn't see her being married coming.

+ And on that note, I think Emily's storylines have so much potential other than just "who she's dating now."

+ MIKE. What is happening? Why is he helping Cyrus or whatever name he's using now? What's up with the blood? So. Many. Questions.

+ I reeeally don't like Hanna's dad.

What did you love/ hate about this week's episode? Tell, tell!

The past couple of episodes of PLL have left a little to be desired {don't get me wrong, I loved every minute} but last night made up for it.

+ Ms. Hastings is here! Guess not all the parents disappeared into a void....

+ I don't trust Jonny. It's like he just appeared, he seems a bit shady, and I don't like that Spencer is opening up to him. Why do they have to bring in some random guy to mess with a perfectly good couple?

+ Flashbacks are always so interesting, especially Mona flashbacks.

+ We learned some iffy things about Mike and I'm not amused. It leaves so many questions.... why is he visiting Ali? Is he working with her? Is he somehow connected to Mona's death? If the answer to that last one is yes, I will refuse to accept it.

+ "Or else it's simple and we just thought that it was complicated." I feel like Spencer just summarized the whole show in that one sentence.

+ Aaaand we finally hear Bethany's voice. Creepy. Who was she talking about??

+ Holbrook is too much for me.

A lot went down on PLL last night, including flirting, relationship drama, and a near death experience. But isn't that like every week in Rosewood?

+ My feelings about Detective Tanner haven't changed a bit. She's still too shady for me. Her words to Toby were what I've been thinking this whole time though: "You have been a cop for all of six minutes."

+ So is Hanna's mom the only parent left? Did all the others get abducted by aliens or taken by A or something? Seriously. Meanwhile their daughters are just getting themselves into trouble every two seconds..... typical.

+ My Emily and Talia vibes were sooooo on point, thank you very much.

+ EZRA AND ARIA. SPENCER AND TOBY. EVERYTHING HURTS.

+ Haleb makes me happy.

+ We still don't know what's in the bin and it's killing me. No pun intended. I feel like it's Mona, but I also feel like that's just what they want us to think.

Things I took away from last night's episode:

+ Not a lot happens when Ali's not around

+ The girls think Ali is doing all these A things from jail. Literally locked in a jail cell away from society but she can still make all these elaborate plans, apparently.

+ To be honest I kind of forgot about Ted oops

+ I love all the Spencer/ Caleb scenes happening. #brotp

+ I don't love Spencer and Toby fighting. Part of me is afraid there's a break up in the air and I won't be able to accept it if it happens.

+ And the "everything is Hanna's fault" Aria has returned.

+ I'm feeling a vibe from Emily and new waitress girl.

+ IS IT REALLY MONA IN THE BARREL???? Also why did Mona have to die

+ Who is this new kid and why is he so obsessed with eggs

+ Lately things have been lining up with the twin theory, but what if it's Hanna that has the twin? There's multiple reasons it could be possible, but mainly since that storage unit was RENTED IN HER NAME WHAT IS THAT???????

And now we wait for next week...... What did you love {or not love} about this week's episode?

I don't even know how to introduce these things anymore. Here's my scrambled thoughts on this show?? Here's what you need to know?? I don't know. Anyway, the following are very important points I thought of during this episode that I'm not even sure warrant a blog post....

+ I still don't understand how Toby is so "in" with Rosewood PD now. Someone please explain this or I'm going to spend every episode from now on trying to figure out how this happened.

+ Why are they bringing Jackie back??

+ Speaking of Jackie, Aria was clearly not thinking {what's new} with the whole admissions letter.

+ None of these girls ever think. Like ever. Okay, sometimes Spencer.

+ I miss Mona and her cryptic shenanigans.

+ When Spencer and Toby fight I feel like my heart is being ripped out.

+ Hanna's mom and Jason..... lol okay. Called it. But still so weird.

What are your {more coherent} thoughts on last night's episode? Also, if someone knows how to quit this show, advice on that would be great too.....
