I recently shared my March favorites, and coconut oil was among the products mentioned.
And for good reason.
I originally decided to try coconut oil as a natural makeup remover- I'd been reading up on the real deal on makeup wipes and I wanted them out of my life asap. My eyes were becoming sensitive to the chemicals in the wipes and my face just felt blah, sometimes even after I washed it.
Buh-bye, wipes.
The coconut oil hype is nothing new and I was ready to test it out for myself.
I was a little hesitant of it actually removing all my makeup, but after a minute of an intense raccoon look, every last bit washed off. Say whaaaa?
Another cool use for this oil is as a moisturizer for any skin type. Part of my nighttime skin care routine had been using Curel as a face moisturizer, but lately that's been replaced by coconut oil and there is a definite difference.
My face feels smoother and happier, if skin can be happy.
Oh yeah, it can help tame frizz and flyaways in your hair, too.
I'm telling you, this stuff is amaaazing and there's also about 100 other ways you can incorporate it into your life.
